You can mod items to make them behave like other items in .40.

Hopefully the limited supply will be resolved in .41.

Unfortunately, there's no BahaveLikeTorch attribute, it'd be cool to make chests glow or have dorfs emit light (deity dorfs XD)

Copy the whole Template file.

Makes the item TURN into a torch though, not emit light.
