There's "Borrowing" and there's "Lifting the entire idea directly from when you've already been accused of stealing the ENTIRE idea this early on." Wink

Plus like EVERY suggestion for this game has been "borrowed" from Minecraft.

RE: Creative mode?
I think it just might be the size of "impact" that minecraft made. While making "sandbox building game" developers are bound to take similar aproach in some aspects.
It's just like trying to make fps without guns or rts without buildings and units. Well.. You can do that if You really want to, but would it be good idea?

Uberdark, as it is now, already brings lot of new things in its theme and basic mechanics (it sounds little fanboy'ish, but wateva..).

But yeah, this idea is too much of ripoff. I would prefer true level editor rather than haxed free-fly mode Tongue
I wonder for how long "ghost of minecraft" will be haunting this project : (

For all its life. But Minecraft was only ripping off Infinaminer anyway -.-

For creative you need the OLD building style toggleable Big Grin

RE: Creative mode?
Classic creative, you mean? That sucked, you couldn't fly in it and that means pillaring, people just modded it to be able to fly anyway.

Making your character "poof" and giving you an overhead view of the world with a controllable camera and debug-like tools would do the same thing though.

Triple-A companies thrive on greed, indie companies thrive on weed.
