Alpha v36 Released
Download links can be found on the kickstarter page or in e-mail.

As for those who have yet to purchase the game, it can be bought from; http://www.lordsofuberdark.com

+ (Added feature)
- (Removed feature)
@ (Changed feature)

My personal change log:

+ Added Axe. (Q to switch between tools)
+ Added trees (cannot be taken down yet)
+ Added place-able doors (can't open or close them, though)
+ Added grid-locked cube placement (Hold Ctrl to use)
+ Added textures for materials placed in cubes.
+ Added Place-able walls and floors (V and B, respectively)
+ Added place-able zombies (Z, killed with axe swings)
+ Added simple health system for zombie attacks (Dying returns you to the spawn)
+ Added wave effect on shorelines.
+ Added magical pink substance of mysterious wonder.
- Removed FPS Counter
- Removed Stone texturing with O and P
- Removed the ability to destroy water shore voxels.
- Removed height limit
- Removed Dorf model testing
@ Changed Firepot lighting (lower brightness from 1 pot I think... might be imagining it.)
@ Changed the gradient texture between materials
@ Changed the pickaxe image to reflect the planned model.
@ Game performance improved dramatically
@ Changed the effectiveness of mining backwards
@ Changed the rate at which "rare" ores are collected
@ Collision detection seems a little bit better, as I don't fall through floors or get sucked through walls now

--------------------------------------------------------
Lords of Uberdark v0.36 (Official Change Log)
--------------------------------------------------------
Changes from version 0.35...
[-] Still working on fluid dynamics
[*] Added axe (sorta)
[*] Added Tree & Door test models
[*] Added simple combat and collisions
[*] Added Zombi animations
[*] Added Zombi monsters
[*] Added swamp material type
[*] Added dirt wall material type
[*] Added snap to grid blocks (hold CTRL)
[*] Added texture animation for materials
[*] Changed terrain texturing scheme to improve speed (MATERIAL.TGA)
[*] Changed terrain rendering to improve speed (culling)
[*] Changed mouse handling further
--------------------------------------------------------

Known glitches:

= Firepot lighting does not affect trees or doors
= Firepot lighting is glitchy with zombies
= Firepots can be placed inside each other still
= Going too high causes the game to crash
= The water's wave effect flows in strange directions sometimes
= Placed floors are not truly flat, as seen by walking over them
= Zombies can hit you regardless of your height. (They only look at X and Z coordinates to see if they can hit you)

I will update this list as new things are brought to my attention.

RE: Alpha v36 Released
Is it just me or has the terrain generator changed. The hills all seem so steep now I can hardly climb them.

That needs to be wound back.. a lot! Or is there perhaps a way of inputing a seed?

RE: Alpha v36 Released
Hey cool, thanks. I've been so flat out at work these past couple of days it's been all I can do to remove spam, block users and rollback/approve changes.

There's been some contributions by others though, and that's fantastic!

RE: Alpha v36 Released
I don't know loads about wikis. But I wrote a lot of the baselines for the Terraria wiki as soon as it was up though. I make the base for people who are better to come along and pretty it up etc lol.
